- Orthopaedic Examination.
And orthopaedic examination is a focused physical exam of the musculoskeletal system which includes the bones and muscles and the tendons and ligaments that connects it.
- Neurological Examination.
A neurological examination is a focused physical exam of the nervous system which includes both central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system.
- Dental Examination.
A dental examination is it thorough investigation of the oral cavity which includes the teeth, the gums and structures surrounding it.
- Dermatology Examination/Complete Skin Examination.
A dermatological examination includes complete examination of the integumentary or the skin system in the body.
The ophthalmological examination includes the complete checkup of the eye and its surrounding structures.
- Blood Work.
Complete Blood count:
A CBC or complete blood count is a blood test where the analyser counts the number of cells including RBC WBC and platelets and their associated parameters. A manual count may also be done in some cases to confirm.
Liver function test:
The LFT or liver function test is a test where the blood is assayed for enzymes produced by the liver. This is done the screen the adequacy of liver function.
Renal function test:
The KFT or the kidney function test is a blood test that screens for the adequacy of renal filtration/ sufficiency.
A lipid profile includes the measurement of cholesterol and triglycerides present in the pets blood.
Harmone function test:
Hormone panel includes measuring levels of certain hormones like the thyroid, cortisol etc... in the blood of the pet.
- Complete Urine Analysis.
Urine analysis is a test where the pets urine is subjected to a series of investigations to measure the health of the pets urological system.
- Blood Pressure Check
Blood pressure measures the pressure within the arteries at the periphery during each heartbeat. Measuring BP helps to diagnose hypertension and hypotension in pets.
- Electro Cardiogram.
An ECG or electrocardiography is a test to check the electrical activity of the heart. It helps to diagnose few cardiac conditions.
- Radiograph.(Body,Chest and Abdomen).
An x-ray is a procedure to image the internal structures of the body by subjecting the pet through safe amounts of radiation. It helps to diagnose multiple problems such as arthritis, abdominal or thoracic tumors, heart disease, lung disease, spinal cord disease, foreign bodies etc...
(In case if required, additionally charged abdominal ultrasound and Echocardiography)
