Having a B.V.Sc from Haryana Agricultural University and a M.V.Sc from Veterinary College, Bengaluru, Dr. Ramesh has also pursued several advanced courses in orthopedics and ophthalmology from Germany, Australia, US to name a few countries.
Dr. Ramesh was employed as a government officer (veterinary surgeon) in Haryana before he joined the Cessna Lifeline team as founder along with Dr. Pawan and has been instrumental in establishing the Cessna Lifeline practice in its current form.
Dr. Ramesh’s day at Cessna Lifeline begins with rounds at the OT, followed by Out-patient department, consulting with clients and also advising other doctors on treatment plans for pets in consultation. If any emergencies come through the doors, Dr. Ramesh works on those cases as well.
Dr. Pawan and Dr. Ramesh have been friends since class 10 and have always talked about taking veterinary medicine in India to great levels and this is what they strive to achieve every single day, he says. “Now, I also spend my time training the other doctors on various procedures, creating protocols when it comes to treating small animals. I also would like to work on adding more value to the client experience here at Cessna Lifeline.”
In his free time, Dr Ramesh likes to play badminton and keep fit. He would like to master playing snooker at some point, he says. He also loves spending time with his family and friends watching movies and traveling to destinations near and far.
