Dr. Prachi did her Bachelors and Masters from GB Pant University in Uttarakhand in 2019.
Interestingly, it was through Facebook that she found Cessna Lifeline and hence applied. She joined the hospital shortly after graduating in February 2020.
Dr. Prachi spends most of her time working in the OT, CT scan, Hemodialysis units. When she gets some time, she also sees OPD patients.
“I am so grateful to Dr. Pawan and Dr. Ramesh for taking me in. I have always wanted to work with a contemporary animal hospital that matches a human hospital with its services and facilities provided, and Cessna Lifeline is the place. I am so lucky to be working under the guidance of Dr. Ramesh in the OT. He is my inspiration and I have learnt so much from him. Here, at Cessna Lifeline we always stress on diagnosis and then treatment which I really appreciate”
Soon, Dr. Prachi intends to advance her learnings in the departments she is working.
She would like to see more facilities like Cessna Lifeline coming up across India along with more specializations amongst doctors.
She speaks highly of clients of Cessna Lifeline who she feels are very well educated and aware about pet care and wellness. “Clients are well-versed with even basic surgeries like spay\neuter. It becomes easier to guide pet parents and they are very open to feedback and advise” she says.
During her free time, she loves to dance, even though she isn’t a trained dancer. She squeezes in 20 minutes daily to dance freestyle, she says.
